  • Yes. We work with our clients to schedule meetings during times that work for them, and we offer virtual meeting options to avoid having to meet in person.

  • Yes. The IRS prepares substitute for returns based on your wage and income transcripts, which include income information reported to the IRS by your employer or payers. These returns typically show higher amounts than what you actually owe. Therefore, it is important to file a return in order to obtain the deductions and credits that you are entitled to.

  • Once you’ve reviewed to your quote and engaged our firm, the process is fast. After the client has uploaded all of their documents, the meeting with the accountant is typically scheduled the next business day or at the client’s convenience.

  • Step 1: Once we receive your tax documents, our office will quickly call you to schedule a telephone zoom conference.

    Step 2: Your information will be entered by one of our staff accountants and a two-year review will be performed to ensure the income/expenses listed on the prior year’s return were not accidentally omitted from your current year’s tax return. If we need any additional information, we will notify you prior to your appointment.

    Step 3: After you complete your telephone/zoom conference with your assigned accountant, you will receive an email of a copy of your return to review as well as a link to digitally DocuSign your forms. If you do not have access to digitally sign your forms, you can stop by our office to sign any required forms, or you may email or fax the signed forms.

    Step 4: Once we receive your signed forms via DocuSign, along with payment for our services, we will E-file your returns to the federal and state tax agencies.

    Step 5: When your returns have been accepted by the tax agencies, you will receive an email confirmation of the acceptance for your records.

    Expecting a Refund:
    If you're expecting a refund, the IRS typically issues more than 9 out of 10 refunds in less than 21 days from the date the return was accepted by the tax agency. Per the IRS, it’s possible your tax return may require additional review and take longer.

    If you are to receive a refund, you can elect to have your refund automatically deposited into your bank account, or you can elect to have a paper check mailed to you.

    Expecting to Owe:
    If you have an amount due, you can elect to have the amount automatically withdrawn from your bank account, or you can elect to make the payment yourself; by using a payment voucher (provided from our office) and mailing in a check, or you can make the payment online through the correct tax agencies website.

  • In most cases our clients will receive refunds from the IRS via ACH right into their bank accounts. Most refunds are received within 2 weeks.

  • Typically you will receive your completed tax return 2 - 5 business days after our team receives your documents.

    If you are due a refund, the IRS typically remits within 21 days.
