Internal Revenue Code

The Internal Revenue Code, which was enacted by Congress in Title 26 of the United States Code, is statutory tax law implemented by the Internal Revenue Service.  The laws cover income tax, payroll taxes, gift taxes, estate taxes, and excise tax.
